My Idiolect

My Idiolect-

I don't use any fillers when i talk however i constantly start thinking about something else and forget what i was saying so i pause for a bit, say "ummm" followed by "what was i on about again?". Also instead of saying good, i tend to say mint, this is probably because i have a strong Bristolian accent and say Bristolian words and instead of saying bad i say shit.

Rather than saying Antarctic i realized that i actually pronounce it without the c, so i say Antartic. Another thing i say due to being Bristolian is slider as apposed to slide. When i answer my home phone, i tend to speak quite posh however when i answer my mobile i sound quite annoyed and blunt depending on who i'm chatting to, on face time i'm very chatty and informal though.

When i talk im also very sarcastic, however for people who don't know me very well, i may come across as being rude and impolite but i'm not! I personally think i have quite a low voice, especially when i hear it on record i just cringe. But my friends say its just normal so i don't really know what to think because they say the same about theirs.
