Gods among us #3 CLOONEY

Gods among us #3 CLOONEY

A star so bright and hot, he makes the sun look like a minute match spark. God bless George Clooney. By Sophie Cranmer

Who knew there was evidence of a real god. 53 years ago, the second coming of Jesus happened in the form of a small boy named George Timothy Clooney. For his impeccable acting talent, he has received 3 Golden Globe Awards and 2 Oscars (2 more than Leonardo DiCaprio). Even though he may be growing older his charisma will remain forever young. Although teenage heart throbs, such as Zac Efron may be famous for their 5 minutes of fame in cheesy musicals , George Clooney is busy defying gravity and partaking in wars against mobsters--a lot more advanced than Zac could ever dream of.

George has come a long way since his bespowed iconic films such as Spy Kids and the blockbuster Oceans Twelve. Starring in 51 movies; each of which a variety of genres, his most recents being Gravity, The Monument Men and more famously The Ides of March (alongside Ryan Gosling, although we both know who really shone).

More recently, I have never felt jealously as strongly as I have In the month of October 2014 as I watched on as George married a profound British-Lebanese lawyer--Amal. He will remain timeless and a god of the acting world. Amen.

  1. A passionate and distinctive piece. You include many techniques to convince your audience. "Bespowed"? You might not want to go quite so far in a mainstream magazine as to say he is the second coming - some readers might find that offensive, although your tone is lighthearted.'Gods' is a term being used in the title of the series as a metaphor for exceptional greatness and you should try and maintain that level of reverentiality for Clooney :) I very much liked the "defying gravity" pun as that fits both lexical fields: superhuman qualities and film references. Empire readers like to be clever enough to spot these - it adds to the enjoyment of reading the piece.
